You DO NOT have to purchase a server, it is just reccomended to ensure good server performance since essential mod has bugs and can be very laggy.

Ever seen videos on youtube or TikTok where people play Minecraft, but zombies attack very fast, skeletons shoot as fast as ARs, and creepers act like heat-seeking missiles, but you don't know how to recreate this so you and your friends can play it together? This is the modpack for you, when you join the world, you can execute the command "/tick rate 2000" to enable the high tick rate, allowing you to only enable it when you and your friends are ready.

Some of the mods in this modpack are:

-essentials mod: allows players to play with their friends in single-player worlds

-simple voice chat: a simple and effective proximity chat mod

-ore harvester: a vein-miner alternative
