Minecraft has a long standing problem with animal wandering behaviour; there's a quirk with how random positions are chosen which causes animals to have a heavy bias towards walking up slopes. Due to how mojang cull certain positions for performance, it can result in blocks higher than the entity being several times more likely to be chosen than blocks at the same level or lower, which can cause some really ugly behaviour. Stupid Cow, Stop Climbing! Fixes this behavioural quirk, and also shouldn't break any farms which rely on pathfinding in the process. It even works as a server-side only mod!
