Description
Hello everyone and welcome to A Legendary Tekkit! This modpack is based off Tekkit Legends by Technic Staff, but everybody knows it's not updated and it doesn't feel like "Tekkit". Do you remember the good old times were the Buildcraft Engines would explode upon overheat? When the IC2 machine would broke if harvested without a wrench? When you wanted to find another way to bug-abuse the EMC system? Then this modpack is what you are looking for! This modpack aim to be what Tekkit Legends should have been, bringing back all the feelings from the original Tekkit Classic, but in a more modern way!
Major differences with Tekkit Legends:
-All mods are updated to the last version avaliable in Minecraft 1.7.10.
-Some mods were removed because they were pointless in a Tekkit-like modpack, most notably: Forestry and addons, Engineer's Toolbox, and Big Reactors.
-Some mods were added to make the pack more modern and improve the experience, most notably: AppleCore, Better Builder's Wands and Stacksize.
-Lots of config have been modified to make the pack as close as possible to the original Tekkit Classic.
-Almost every basic resource from every mod has an EMC value.
Major differences with Tekkit Classic:
Tekkit Classic theme and mods have been kept as close as possible using the mods available on the 1.7.10 version of Minecraft. Some mods have been replaced with similar content adding mods. Some things are different with mods; some things have been tweaked to feel more like the original Tekkit Classic but not all. This modpack isn't a copy-paste in 1.7.10 of the 1.2.5 Tekkit, so expect some minor differences. If you want the exact feelings of Tekkit Classic then go download and play the original Tekkit Classic.
I'll list here some differences between this pack and the original:
-General higher compatibility among mods thanks to the more modern Forge build.
-Some mods were added to enhance the compatibility among mods, most notably: AOBD, FortuneOres and OreDictionaryConverter.
-More stuff has an EMC value.
-Some mods like MiscPeripherals are missing due to they are not updated to this version.
-Logistics Pipes isn't a mod from the original pack, but I felt the need of something to sort your stuff, and I think AE2 would be inappropriate, so LP is a good compromise.
-There are other mods which didn't exist back in 1.2.5 but I thought they would have been a nice addition to the pack without huge changes to the Tekkit experience, most notably: Jabba, VeinMiner and DenseOres.

You can find the server files in the download section, clicking on the Server Pack button next to the version of the pack you are playing.
Note: the 1.0 version has no Server Files. All other versions have their own.
