**Create Additions & Synthetics**
This mod adds alternative or completely new **recipes for base game items, Create Mod content and even items from other Create Addons** using Create Mod manufacturing processes that are mostly based on the real-life counterpart of the item and its respective synthetic manufacturing process. (A list of all recipes is included below). CAS aims to **streamline automation** and give users **different options when manufacturing items**.
**Version 2.0** adds a new tier beyond netherite for your tools with **increased damage and mining speed**, called **Gilded Netherite**, which is made in a smithing table using a whole new set of items. Craft the new Gilded Upgrade with Dense Brass Sheets and combine it with a Brass Crystal and a netherite tool in the smithing table to upgrade the tool to its Gilded Netherite variant. Gilded Netherite Armor might be added in the future.
**Version 3.0** adds over 80 new items to use as **filters in Redstone Links or as labelling for floors in tall buildings**. These items are made in a stonecutter from their respective template. There are four different template variations made from brass, iron, copper or zinc nuggets and paper. Each can be crafted into numbers from **00 - 20**. Further numbers are not currently planned.
Unfortunately, 1.21.1 and newer versions will most likely not be supported.
It is recommended to use [JEI](https://modrinth.com/mod/jei) alongside this mod to see all the new recipes added in game.

- Bookshelves (by bulk-haunting Barrels)
- Sea Lanterns (by bulk-haunting Ice)
- Moss
- Quartz Blocks (from Terracotta)
- Aged Copper Blocks (with Nuggets of Experience)
- Andesite, Andesite Alloy and Casings (using new liquid **Molten Andesite**)
**Items**:
- Redstone (by bulk-washing Cinder Flour)
- Honey and Honeycombs
- Leather
- Flowering Azalea Leaves
- Coal
- Paper (through new item **Sawdust**, made by milling Logs)
- Prismarine Crystals and Shards
- Gunpowder (through new item **Gunpowder Compound**, made from Charcoal and Cinder Flour)
- Nautilus Shells
- Ink and Ink Sacs
- Apples, Milk and Cocoa Beans (through new item **Sugar Flour**)
CAS also adds a way to obtain the **Creative Tank** from [Create Stuff 'N Additions](https://modrinth.com/mod/create-stuff-additions), but the recipe has been carefully balanced to remain fair.
