Description

This mod is designed for users who want to remove specific recipes without needing to know how to code or go into the config. It makes it 100x easier than other mods to remove recipes. When banning a recipe this mod will remove the recipe entirely. In general if the recipe is banned the user will not be able to craft the item even if they know the recipe. This also stops the item from being smelted and dropped by mobs by default and is compatible with any mod. USE ON SERVER  AND CLIENT If not used on both some things will not work correctly! This mod is ideal for users trying to play survival and will be updated to cater more to survival ⚠️THIS MOD CANNOT BE USED IN MODPACKS OUTSIDE OF CURSEFORGE⚠️ And be careful when doing world wipes as this mods data is stored in your level.dat so if you have to erase that you will have to reban everything. this mod is made to NOT have to operate off configs at all.

 Commands

item ID (ex. Minecraft:pig)

/sig ban <itemid or hand> - You can add the item ID or type "/sig ban hand" to ban the item in your main hands recipe.

/sig list - Shows a list of all banned items

/sig refresh - Refreshes the mod so you don't need to start your server over for changes to take effect if doing on a live server use this command as a *just in case* measure

/sig unban <itemid or all> - Enter the items ID to unban the items recipe.

 

(0.0.7+)New command /sig table ban <item> <group> (Group ex. creature) you do not have to put in the group if you don't want to but it will allow you to have a more versatile experince changig drops around This command is to only ban the items lootable and nothing else, so the item will not appear in chest etc. Still in beta so bare with me.

Planned Features

(Light blue) Dev crafting table that only allows ops with the proper permissions in luckperms/ FTBRanks to use it and only 1 can be placed in the world to do all of this mods functions (The commands will still be usable after this addition) even if the item isn't vanilla the item will show in the gui. in addition a command "/sig delcrafter" for if you lose it or whatever the case may be you will be able to make this command locked with luck perms. The idea of this item is to do all this mods functions but also allow you to convert any recipe to your liking you will be able to add and remove items of your choice.

/sig itemdrop <itemid or hand> true or false Finding a item in the world and breaking it (ex. breaking dirt blocks) traditionally will drop it and allow players to pick it up this feature will make the item be prevented from dropping it's resources. The Item will not be present.

/sig mobdrop <itemid or hand> true or false Command to allow or disallow the item to be dropped by mobs.

/sig ban will still by default remove drops but i will have it in addition automatically set /sig mobdrops, /sig chest, and /sig itemdrops all together to false.

/sig category ban or unban to ban/unban a mods entire list of recipes.

Will this mod be on other modloaders?

No. you should be able to use Sinytra connector <-(Clickable) to get the mod to work on neoforge, fabric and wherever else that mod creates a bridge.

Issues

Some mods are going straight to hell after using Server Item Gone and using any recipe/item banning methods. Some of the mods items that weren't touched dissapear after banning a item. A workaround I've found out Is make a "data bank" In Ftb quests as a invisible quest line while in a seperate world add the items that got removed as the quests completion reward that you wanted to use from that mod and you will be able to go back into your other world and acquire the items from that ftb quest "Data bank". You will need Soulbound or an enchantment similar to keep items after death to prevent the item from corrupting again. This issue isn't Just with my mod. I've used other mods of this kind and this issue seems pretty persistent when dealing with how some mods data is stored. I will try to fix but It might be a longshot.Another issue (incompatibility) removing drops of some modded items using /sig ban hand that have funky ID data won't work. You can use /sig ban <item id>, I'm not adding compatibility to every mod with this problem😪, that is way too much search and destroy. Using the ItemID will work without a issue if you encounter this hurdle with modded entities still dropping the item. Should work with no issue though.

other mods always have a chance of breaking others creations (Sorry, Adding loads of compats is just unrealistic seeing as I only made this mod for my modpack I'm working on but wanted to share this mod with the community seeing as it's so helpful even with these 2 issues) I LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR PROJECTS!
