How about a Fabric version?

That exists too! Find it right here.

Will there be a 1.12 version?

Probably not, since 1.12 Forge is deprecated and quite different from 1.13 and above versions of Forge.

Where's 1.20.5+?

Due to shifts in the modding community and changes in the mod's backend, there are no plans to keep updating Llama Steeds for old Minecraft Forge to Minecraft 1.21 and up at this time. If the mod's new base (Architectury) comes out with support for Forge 1.21, this will likely change. Builds for all other modloaders (Fabric, NeoForge, Quilt coming soon) can be found on the main project page.

Because of the lack of support for old Minecraft Forge, I wasn't even able to easily test the mod on Minecraft 1.20.5 and 1.20.6. The 2023.12.25 version of Llama Steeds may work for these, but use at your own risk.
