Description

I am ThrakMr (aka damnedsky) a romanian youtuber with an old background in modded Minecraft Let's Plays. This pack is the first that I do on the Curse client and was initially meant as an exercise in testing mods and fine tuning balance issues but now has become a fully fledged modpack built for my Romanian Modded Minecraft series. The focus is on a slightly harder but balanced progression starting with Tinkers/Pam's HarvestCraft -> Buildcraft/Railcraft/Forestry -> Mekanism/Applied Energistics.

Tip for Tinkers progression: flint > copper > iron > osmium ... ;)

Main features of the modpack and thought process behind these features:

There are no fast travel methods and no item teleportation. Nobody uses Railcraft anymore because of all the fast travels and flight and teleportation mods out there. Well... now they have no other choice >:)
The only flight is provided by the Mekanism jetpack and Mo'Creatures ... creatures.(we don't have open blocks so no glider)
Ore mining is done through Builcraft Quarry and late game through the Mekanism Digital Miner.
You have 4 extra dimensions to explore: Twilight Forest, Runic Dungeons, Erebus and the End(enhances by the Hardcore Ender Expansion). This is the same order in which I recommend exploring them.
All Tinkers tools level up with +1 modifier and +1 harvest speed. All Tinkers weapons level up with +1 modifier and +1 harvest attack. No more random modifiers!
The food situation is tough! Recommend using the Lunch box to store food and keep it stocked with 6 DIFFERENT food items to ensure best nutritional return.
Forestry farms on the Orchard setting WILL harvest Pam's crops(some are bugged and can't be harvested like that).
Skeletons in this modpack are ASSHOLES! You have been warned
You know how you never want to make a Tinkers Crossbow because you are to lazy? Ya.... MAKE one! For the Crossbow itself I recommend going for short draw speed and high arrow speed. On the bolts I recommend going for low weight and low brake chance. These will ensure you reload faster, shoot more accurate at great distances and that you wont run low on bolts.
