A Work In Progress 1.12.2 modpack. Parasitical is not for the casual player! Your speed of progression will be tested from the very beginning of the world whether it be through tech, firepower or defenses... the parasites evolve and once they get going, they evolve fast. Can you survive long enough? If you find that trying to survive on earth isn't working... head to the stars and create a base on the moon. The parasites will not follow you there and you get some breathing room and even a safe place to build... Use your early time wisely.
For those that like lore:
Earth was just that... Earth. That was until they arrived. They traced it back to an origin on Proxima Centauri B. They said the planet has been consumed and way beyond salvaging however the local rock and life could be used for more advanced technology given the composition of such. You however, are just a survivor trying to get off world as quickly as possible and survive the incoming infestation. They said that not all planets or moons are infected...
What to expect in the upcoming weeks
In the coming 1.9 Update, there will be an entirely new progression means through HBM's Nuclear Tech Mod. This will involve significantly less clutter in your inventories through duplicate ores, a much more streamlined and in depth industrial process and (hopefully) should be less tedious crafting recipes! Balancing is obviously still an issue however its getting better... Im working on it... im doing it... There will be custom structures on the various planets at some point as well. The latest Beta is playable however the later game stuff might be a bit unpolished though. Questing has also been changed to be much easier to follow, more in depth and contains better rewards and help for certain systems. Farming and food sources will be scarce though... ensure you stock up!

Known Issues / Optifine:
- Optifine is not in the pack by default, Some versions may crash and you may need an older version.
- Essential is NOT compatible with this modpack
- If you encounter random lag after a death, reload chunks. (Fixed in PRE-1.9A+)
- When firing weapons through long corridors of non-solid blocks (like slabs/ladders) it can result in a crash
