Overview

Create: New Age is an addon for the Create mod that adds integration with electricity. It does so by adding multiblock structures that resemble their reallife counter-parts. Furthermore, create: new age doesn't stop at electricity and also adds nuclear power to create.

As of 1.1, this addon requires Botarium to work on 1.20.1. However it works without botarium on 1.21.1

Features

Electricity generation using large spinning copper coils with magnets.
Motors (Not just one motor!) which can generate rotation from electricity.
Energiser which lets you craft a few new items using rotation and electricity.
Multiblock nuclear reactors which can easily generate heat used to boil water for your steam engines.
Wires that allow one to transfer energy around easily.
Solar panels which can generate heat.
A heat system which allows you to transfer heat generated by solar panels and nuclear reactors to other places.

My electricity stops working after a few hundred blocks?

Currently electricity connectors have a range limit which can be increased in the config, it is however recommended that you don't increase it since that can lead to lag. Currently it is better that you either wait for the update that improves this or use another mod's wires.

Is this addon compatible with Create: Crafts & Additions?

Yes, the two addons should be able to work together.

What mods is it incompatible with?

This addon is not compatible with optifine and Minecraft Transit Railway.

I don't like some unrealistic parts of this mod, is there an easy way to remove them?

There is a datapack builtin into this mod called "Create: New Age [Monkey Edition]" which removes recipes for a few magnets, removes recipes for the first tiers of the energiser leaving only the last one, removes recipes for overcharged iron, gold and diamond as well as modifies the recipes that use them.

Can I configure this mod?

We are trying to make our mod as configurable as possible however sometimes we may miss a few things, when you do find something you really want to configure but can't, you can join our discord to tell us about that, alternatibely, you can make a feature requrest on our gitlab issue tracker.
