Potato Spells 1.7 - The Spell Revolution:

This mod adds attributes to mobs, making them harder and more challenging in the magical (and incredibly overpowered) world of Iron's Spells and Spellbooks.

It also slightly tweaks how spell resistance works, making it harder to become an anti-mage tank, but also allowing you to reach 100% spell resistance.

An addon for Iron's Spells and Spellbooks and Alshanex Familiars.

Updates from now on will be slow, since I am working on another mod, a modpack and have been invited to a big mod project.

RPG-like system:

ANYTHING can be analyzed to reveal their attributes

Familiars have Natures! They work exactly like pokemon

You can also use it on players (or yourself)

Base Items:

Analyzers [NEW]:

Base Analyzer - Has fixed distance of 8

Red Analyzer - Gains range with critical chance and critical damage

Green Analyzer - Gains range with armor

Blue Analyzer - Gains range with spell power

Yellow Analyzer - Gains range with speed

Pink Analyzer - Gains range with cast time reduction and cooldown reduction

[NEW] Black Analyzer - Gains range with resistance pierce and resistance shred

Attributes [NEW]:

Mana Shield:

If the player has Mana Shield attribute, their armor will become useless and, instead, they will gain damage reduction based on their mana and spell power.

This attribute is currently experimental and will get some changes in the near future.

[NEW] Spell Resistance Shred:

Ignores a % of the target's spell resistance

[NEW] Spell Resistance Pierce:

Decreases the target's spell resistance by the same value
