Nine Runes are the foundation

Fire sprays from your hand, Ice bursts forth, and Lightning courses with your gaze

Raise the Dead, Manifest your magic as a tool and weapon, Summon captured mobs where you want them.

Armor yourself in power,  Blink to your destination, and use Sight to reveal the hidden dangers.

These runes can be placed invisibly in the world, cast from your hand, or thrown from dispensers.

Begin with an elementary enchanter, use paper for scrolls and pressure plates to gain runestones.  It incidentally allows you to enchant other materials before you have access to diamonds.
