Better Stock Ticker

Tired of chaining a Stock Ticker to a Blaze Burner just to request items from your Create logistics network? Better Stock Ticker adds the Stock Keeper — one block that combines both roles into a single, self-contained station.

What It Does

The Stock Keeper is a full member of Create’s logistical network. It behaves like a Stock Ticker with an integrated blaze stock keeper, giving you request and category UIs without placing or maintaining a separate blaze burner nearby.

Features

Stock Keeper block

• All-in-one logistics block — network linking, stock requests, and category editing in one placement
• No adjacent blaze required — the keeper always counts as present for Create’s stock keeper logic
• In-world upgrade — use a Blaze Burner on a placed Stock Ticker to convert it in place and keep your network frequency and settings (no break-and-replace)
• Crafting recipe — Stock Ticker + Blaze Burner → Stock Keeper (network data can carry over from the ticker ingredient when applicable)
• Familiar controls
  • Right-click → stock request UI
  • Shift + right-click → category UI
  • Shopping list interaction and payment collection work like Create’s stock ticker
• Animated blaze cube — the blaze head inside the block smoothly turns to face nearby players, including up and down

Improved vanilla Stock Tickers

• Vertical blaze keepers — on any Create Stock Ticker, a vanilla Blaze Burner placed above or below counts as a stock keeper (no need to only place it beside the ticker). Blaze burners can also link from any adjacent side
• Vertical seat keepers — a mob in a Create Seat placed above or below a Stock Ticker also counts as a stock keeper, with the same logistics hat and request interaction as side-mounted keepers
• Mob keeper settings — Shift + right-click a seated stock keeper mob to open Stock Keeper Settings:
  • Disable AI — freeze the mob in place
  • Look at Player — keep tracking nearby players even with AI off
  • Mute Sounds — silence mob sounds
  • Invulnerable — prevent damage
  • Settings persist on the mob and survive world reloads; disabled AI keeps the mob’s facing unless Look at Player is enabled

New NPCs (WIP)

• 6 preset poses: Standing, Crouching, Waving, Pointing, Sitting, Thinking
• Custom pose editing with per-part rotation controls (head, body, arms, legs)
• 3D position offset with yaw adjustment
• Subtle idle breathing animation (arm bob + leg sway, toggleable)
