FFExhaustion

An implementation for stamina that tracks a per-player exhaustion value from 0.0 to 1.0. Higher exhaustion means more fatigue and stronger negative effects. Instead of applying potion effects or attributes, this mod aims to make actions less effective. Highly configurable.

I wanted to build this system to create a less frustraiting way to deal with "no stamina remaining". This system explicitly does not stop you from performing actions like sprinting or attacking, but instead makes them slower and less effective. The worst feeling is being in an intense moment and trying to jump or block but being unable to.

Features

• Server-authoritative exhaustion
• Recovery with delay, custom string equations, and bonuses for standing still or sneaking
• Sprinting / swim-sprinting builds exhaustion and slows sprint speed
• Jumping separate costs for base and for sprint-jump.
  • By default, jumping adds exhaustion, but does not start the cooldown delay, where sprint jumping does.
• Attacking separate hit/miss costs, high exhaustion slows attack speed
  • Recommend using better combat.
• Shield holding block increases exhaustion
• Player level vanilla XP level can optionally reduce exhaustion gain and recovery delay duration
• HUD icon for current exhaustion, optional shake when above a threshold, configurable positioning anchors and exact exhaustion text
• Decent modding API
• Optional compat
  • Better Combat hit and miss exhaustion gain, combo modifiers
  • Gliders gain exhaustion while gliding, drop at threshold

What's with the FF prefix?

It stands for Fyxe's Features! Its a clean way to easily find all of my mods when changing configs or creating packs. Mods that are a part of the "FF" system are usually smaller and unintrusive.
