Have you ever watched any of Mojang's Minecraft trailers and thought “Why can’t the game look and feel like that?” – smooth animations, realistic lighting, and characters that feel alive? That’s exactly what Smooth n' Sleek delivers.
This modpack is designed to make Minecraft look and move just like the official cinematic trailers, while keeping the game fully playable and close to its vanilla roots.
Features:
Trailer-Style Visuals: Beautiful shaders tuned to mimic Minecraft’s cinematic trailers – wavy water, soft lighting, colored fog, and clouds that look painted across the sky. It’s not just shaders slapped on, it’s that exact aesthetic. (Only one shader is currently configured)
Smooth Eating & Interaction Animations: Instead of instantly chomping food, you’ll see fluid eating animations that bring more life to survival. Even small actions like drinking, swinging tools, or using items feel cinematic.
Bare Bones Textures (Trailer Inspired): A clean, vibrant style that captures the polished, minimal vibe of Minecraft’s trailers. Every block looks crisp without overcomplicating the vanilla design.
Fluid Player & Entity Animations: Players, mobs, and animals all move with natural motion – walking, running, and idle stances feel smoother, closer to the way they’re shown in promotional videos. Combat animations also have more weight and flow, making fights feel dynamic without changing the core mechanics.

- RAM: 8 GB minimum (allocate at least 4–6 GB to Minecraft)
- GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti / AMD Radeon RX 560 / Intel Iris Xe (or equivalent)
- Storage: ~6 GB free space for game + mods (more if you use lots of worlds/shaders)
- NOTE: Tested with shaders, and the result was very poor FPS values and loading times
Recommended for Best Experience:
- CPU: Intel i5 / Ryzen 5 or higher
- RAM: 12–16 GB (allocate 6–8 GB to Minecraft)
- GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1660 / RTX 2060 or AMD RX 5600 XT (or better)
- Storage: SSD strongly recommended (for faster world loading + shaders)
- NOTE: This settup has not yet been tested, however you will see a noticeable difference in FPS values, loading times, etc.
