I made this texture pack for myself since I couldn't find a classic styled minecraft texture pack for forge 1.20.1

Now i recommend getting goldendays on fabric. if you use forge its not that hard to switch to fabric. and it has more features such as modern beta world generation

some stuff in Alphaish is just textured in ways that I personally prefer. eg red nether mushrooms resemble the glowstone texture

blocks that do have classic and old textures have been given those textures eg grass, cobble, netherack and gravel. maybe with a few small tweaks eg cobble is a mix of 2 different versions of the texture

the stone blocks like deepslate have been retextured to be normal stone just darker. and the lush cave moss is just the classic grass texture.

some newer textures are simply brightened to slightly fit in better with the old saturated textures of old minecraft.

other new textures are made to looks more like other blocks. eg amethyst is purple glowstone and path blocks are brown gravel, diorite is white stone

classic mobs have their old textures back eg pigs, cows and wolves.

glow squids just look like normal squids,

some classic mobs have their textures combined with their old ones eg skeleton is a mix of old and new textures

some new mobs have been retextured. eg piglins have pig textures. salmon are the same color as the old fish texture.

Husks are textured to look like mummys

armors are given their old look.

plenty of items have their sprites retextured as well

classic porkchops, clocks, saddle, flint and steel, etc
stuff like copper and mutton are textured to fit the old style

some changes are nothing more than my personal preference for small parts of the game

glow lichen is just white dots
changed enderman eyes to be singular white dots.
stray skeletons don't have a hood.
turtle helmet is textured as a golden crown
Villagers have old textures as well as some experimenting, still a work in progress
