Description
Sandbox in a Vacuum is a 1.20.1 skyblock pack where you start with nothing, no little island with a tree, no tree on a single dirt block and no infinitely regenerating block only the void.
This is the third pack in the Sandbox series and the sequel to Volcanic Sandbox.
This pack started development shortly after VS was finished and released so at the time of writting that means this pack has been in development for 16 months (not all of that was active development)
Thanks to my discord server members and dedicated testers SparkOfLife and Liam for helping to make the pack hopefully bug free.
The pack is a unique type of skyblock i'd like to call Voidblock, you start with absolutely nothing and need to literally grab dust out of the air with your bare hands to work towards your first block the Void Block.
The pack also has a good selection of tech mods such as Mekanism, Powah, Botania and AE2.
This pack does NOT have create, create is not in any way a bad mod its just overused in packs where it isnt really needed and in Volcanic Sandbox i feel like i used it too much since it felt like the obvious choice but in this pack, and future ones, create will only be used if necessary.
In Sandbox in a Vacuum you will progress though 6 main chapters, split into a few parts each plus 6 end-game chapters and a final chapter to wrap everything up at the end so like 12.5 chapters in total.
Each of the main chapters is made up of 2-3 parts to keep each questline enjoyable and not too long.
The end-game chapters are long and grindy, they will take a while but just because you're not completing quests doesn't mean you're not progressing.

After launching your rocket on track to the moon you start to relax as you start flying towards the moon.
But in a horrible turn of fate you hear a warning blare out of the cockpit speaker.
"Main Engine Failure, Shutting Down All Engines"
Realising you have no way out of the situation you have found yourself in you decide to press the emergency stasis button.
As the temperature drops you close your eyes for the final time before being frozen and left to drift through space in your broken rocket.
This story is continued (loosely) in Sandbox in a Vacuum as you may be able to tell by the theme of this page.
