Description

Update 1.4 is literally finished, I'm just having problems uploading it. It'll be uploaded soon, though!

PRIMAL is a somewhat experimental modpack that takes a different approach to survival, making it somewhat realistic and very immersive. It's not as complex as Better Than Wolves or TerraFirmaCraft, but that wasn't the goal of this pack.

The main things you'll notice upon entering this pack is that you have no crosshair and the only inventory slots you have are your mainhand, offhand, and one extra slot (versions 1.0-1.3.1 do not have this extra slot). If I made this modpack correctly, you should get a tutorial book with some basic instructions. However, there are a couple more things I should point out:

  •  Realistic Forging - Ores mentions using diamond shards to make diamond tools and weapons, this isn't in that mod yet. Once you polish your diamonds, you can use them like normal.
  • Please look at the Controls to see the various keybinds/features in the pack, I don't know if many people do this, but I usually don't do it myself which causes me to miss a lot of things. Feel free to rebind anything.

  • Feel free to toggle ImmersiveMC's immersives on and off whenever, as the mod isn't compatible with Carry On. For example, you are unable to pick up a chest if its immersive GUI is enabled. The keybind to open ImmersiveMC's config is , [THIS ONLY APPLIES TO VERSIONS 1.0 AND 1.1]

This modpack does not necessarily have a "goal". Obviously, your goal is to survive, but as for actually beating the game, that is not possible as I have disabled the Nether, which inherently disables the End. I have also disabled natural spawning for a few mobs, to both balance difficulty and to increase realism.

If there are any issues, please let me know in the comments. As for multiplayer compatibility, I'm unsure.
