Lumora

Lumora is a client side Vanilla+ Fabric modpack focused on performance, clean visuals, better atmosphere, improved animations, useful quality of life features and refined resource packs.

It keeps vanilla progression untouched. No new dimensions, ores, bosses, mobs, quests, technology systems or magic systems are added. The goal is to make Minecraft feel smoother, clearer, more alive and more polished while still feeling like Minecraft.

What Lumora changes

Lumora improves the game in four main areas:

Visuals and atmosphere

Lumora is designed to look good without requiring shaders.

Atmospherics gives biomes their own sky color, haze, fog and environmental tone. Open biomes stay readable and bright, while deserts, jungles, swamps, mangroves, dark forests, caves, the Nether and the End have stronger atmosphere.

Shaders are included, but disabled by default.

Lumora is configured to look good without shaders, but gives shader options for players who want stronger visuals.

Defaults

Shaders are disabled by default.

Mellow is selected as the default shader option.

Voxy is installed, but disabled by default.

The default configuration is balanced for normal gameplay, clean visuals, readable UI and stable performance.

Best for

Lumora is best for Vanilla+ survival, multiplayer client use, building, exploration, screenshots and everyday gameplay with better performance, better visuals and useful quality of life improvements.
