!!! Overall I'm pretty happy with where the modpack is right now! There's a possibility that there will be big updates in the future, but for now, this is the last major update. I'll put out smaller updates if some things need bugfixing or tweaking !!!

Welcome to BossCraft!

A small modpack that focuses on progression. You need to defeat bosses, gather stronger weapons & armor and defeat even more powerful bosses.

This modpack was initially made for the entertainment of myself and my friends. It later grew into a modpack that I wanted to share with others. Inside the pack you'll find custom configs and unique kubejs craft recipes.

⚙ The modpack also uses a custom mod called bosscraft, specifically made for this modpack.

You can progress through the main progression of the modpack by following the quests, but I'll briefly go through the steps here.

Chop down some trees, make a Wooden Pickaxe, mine stone, craft stone tools.
Explore and mine! Try to gather useful resources. Craft Backpacks and make a storage system to help manage your inventory.
Diamond Tools and the Nether are off limits in the early game. You need to defeat the Mossy Zombie and an Evoker in order to access both. Diamond Smithing Templates are used to upgrade your iron tools to diamond (vanilla diamond tool recipes are removed), and you need to craft a Totem of the Flames before you're allowed to enter the Nether. It's crafted with a regular totem, magma blocks, grave iron ingots and a lava bucket. Magma Blocks can be found around Ruined Portals or in volcano biomes. Craft a Nature's Compass to locate a volcano biome.
With access to Diamond Smithing Templates, you can upgrade to Diamond Gear. If you want you can take on some early/midgame bosses, like the Warped Mosco, Elder Guardian, Sacred Pontiff or the Ancient Remains. They're not required to progress but can drop some nice loot.
Go to the Nether, find a Netherite Smithing Template in Bastion Remnant chests and upgrade to Netherite Gear. Defeat Wraiths to get Soul Bead. Soul Bead can lead you to the nearest Fortress. Kill blazes for Blaze Rods. They're used to craft the Explorer's Compass in the modpack and with its help, you can locate structures.
Make an XP farm and enchant your gear. Use the Enhanced Mob Spawner mod to craft spawners. Every mob can drop their spawn egg with a small percent chance.
Defeat the Netherite Monstrosity, the Wither and the Harbinger. Defeat the NM to gain access to virentium ingots. Defeating the Harbinger allows you to craft dimlite ingots. Both are more powerful than netherite. You can get into some magic mods to help you with these fights.
There are some useful items in Biomancy, Vampirism or Malum, like the Gluttonous Brooch which gives you an extra belt slot. You can also craft an Ocarina of Power from the Terramity mod.
Even with virentium and dimlite ingots, you can't upgrade your tools because you need Virentium and Dimlite Smithing Templates respectively. They are dropped by Gob, the King of Gnomes. Defeat him!
Craft Eyes of Ender and head to the Stronghold. Prepare for the Ender Dragon fight! The eye of ender crafting recipe is a bit modified in the modpack, requiring gaianite clusters and untapped dimlites.
Defeat the Ender Dragon and explore the outer end islands. Craft and find accessories from the Enigmatic Legacy mod, they're OP. You can also defeat the Ender Guardian to gain access to cosmilite ingots.
With Virentium/Dimlite Gear, defeat the Super Sniffer!
Mine Iridium (can only be mined with a virentium, dimlite or cosmilite pickaxe). Iridium is the base material for the next tier of weapons and armor.
Craft an Enchanting Infuser with iridium ingots. With the infuser you can select which enchantments you want on your tools and armor.
Gear up and find a Trial Spire. Loot it and fight the Trial Guardian! After you defeat it, you gain access to Conductite/Hellspec/Void Smithing Templates.
Defeat Ignis, the Leviathan and the Ancient Remnant to be able to craft Conductite/Hellspec/Void Alloy Ingots. Upgrade your tools, armor and accessories!
Mine Profanum (can only be mined with a conductite, hellspec or void pickaxe). Profanum is the base material for the next tier of weapons and armor.
Defeat the Shadow Mages, Scylla, Maledictus, Void Worm and the Virtue to be able to craft endgame gear. Prepare well, these are very hard bosses.
Summon and defeat the Ultra Sniffer, the final and most powerful boss in the modpack. I suggest making a Grace of the Creator and a Non-Euclidean Cube. Stack up on powerful accessories, golden apples and buff potions. Try using ender pearls to quickly get out of the blast's range or you can build obsidian walls to block its kamehameha attacks.
