Description

What is Ages: Reimagined

A modern reinterpretation of SevTech: Ages, a popular modpack from version 1.12.2.

Ages: Reimagined aims to bring a twist to the table by retaining some good features from its inspiration and offering new possibilities through newer technology and mods.

The modpack includes both lesser-known mods like ytech and well-known ones like Create or Farmersdelight. Recipes are tweaked to get a breath of fresh air into known mods.

Ore generation

Ore generation is overhauled with Large Ore Deposits and custom blocks to indicate an ore vein. Instead of vanillas scattered ores, there are relatively rare ore clusters with many ores.

Project Vibrant Journey and Deposits

Progression

Progression is custom made and divided into several eras, starting with the Stone Age, through the Bronze Age, early kineticasation, all the way through industrialization , which marks the current end of the beta.

Over time, you unlock additional blocks, recipes, items, ores, dimensions, mobs and mods, which are designed to give you a sense of progress as you move through the ages.

Immersive Engineering and Create

Specific future plans:

Integration of mods/recipes so that recipes unlocked in later ages offer the possibility of replacing recipes from earlier ages
Or support earlier production methods (e.g. Energy/Pneumaticcraft pressure as source for Create stress units or vice versa)
