Description
Taste of Matcha is aimed to provide the most convenient out-of-the-box experience for playing the Matcha Flavoured data pack with several improvements on top of it. A big shout out to Klei Wright for making such a cool data pack!
This modpack is a simple and solid base that should work well for most people, it's not an opinionated pack with lots of stuff (apart from what Matcha Flavoured already has). So feel free to add whatever mods you personally want to play with.
Features of Taste of Matcha
- Matcha Flavoured data pack is enabled on all worlds by default
- Three resource pack presets: Matcha Flavoured (enabled by default), Matcha Vanilla (vanilla look including water colours), Matcha Programmer Art (coming soon!). Press the "Saved Profiles" button in the top left corner of the resource packs selection screen to switch between profiles
- Improved HUD - hunger and experience bars are properly removed, armor and air bars are repositioned to fit better - achieved through my mod Melancholic Hunger & HUD
- Improved Advancements - advancements are pretty important in Matcha so their window size is increased
- Removed experimental warning pop-up that appears when creating and loading worlds
- Necessary performance mods and shader support
- A few light QoL mods
- Vanilla friendly - you will be able to continue playing in your world if you decide to switch to "vanilla" Matcha Flavoured (WARNING: you'd have to manually readd the Matcha Flavoured data pack to your world, so please back up your world before doing that and check out some tutorials if you're not sure how to do that)
