Unknown to you, something is underground, something fast, and it is coming up to kill you.


Civilization has fallen and whatever part of the Government is left does not care for citizens. Even if you do find some military soldiers, chances are, they will shoot you on sight. Everyone you knew is either gone or now undead and no, zombies are not the things I am talking about, not even close.

I realize as you read this, no number of words I write can describe what I am talking about, so I will just show you.

Time to Begin
-Allocate around 5-7 ram for the Modpack & play with the already selected world type called "(7D2M)"

-Play with Render Distance 12 or less, structures are highly detailed so having so many chunks loaded with can lag you.

FAQ

-Mutiplayer?

For mutiplayer without servers: Essential is incompatible due to my performence mods, you could use e4mc retro but it is unstable, I recommend a server for mutiplayer.

 

For Servers: Download the Server File, in server properties for the level type put put "SEVENDAYS" and put allow-flight to true. This world type stops vanilla villages spawning as they tend to clip into all the modded structures and flight allows players using endgame tech to not be kicked. I also recommend pre-generating the world with a mod if you have tons of players as loading so many chunks at once with such detailed structures can cause lag if so many players are exploring all directions at once. Especially a city generating.  (If using pre-gen, temporaily disable Alfheim Lighting Engine mod and Weather 2 mod)


In general the mod wont continue to evolve when players are offline so you can leave it on 24/7 but if you have an active server with a small amount of people coming in and out constantly during off hours, I recommend leaving the server on for a certain amount of hours, like 12 hours a day for example. (These parasites will wreck you if your not prepared)  or adjusting each phase manually with commands depending where players are at.



-Can I use OptiFine/Shaders?
(Just note, besides Shaders the modpack already has a Zoom feature, dynamic lights, great performence and even skin variations. So besides shaders, OptiFine wont make a big difference)

Remove the following mods for OptiFine: VintageFix, SimpleZoom, Chunk Pregenerator and Random Mob Textures.

Only remove lightaura if you plan to use OptiFine built in dynamic lights, otherwise use the light system from "LightAura"

For Shaders, in settings turn on Anti-aliasing. Then access the Weather EZ button top of the pause menu (NOT the main menu) and turn on shader compatability, with options such as SEUS or other. 

I highly recommend adding alongside OptiFine these: 
Scape and Run: Emissives - Minecraft Resource Packs - CurseForge (Only works with shaders)
OptiNotFine - Minecraft Mods - CurseForge




- I crash when I load into a world/load into a new world
A very very small percentage of players run into this issue. It occurs for various reasons such as old intel hardware
java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: Class org.lwjgl.opengl.ContextCapabilities does not have member field 'boolean GL_ARB_direct_state_access <--- A error that appears in the logs=

Disable the mod improved Cleanroom, its a huge performence mod but is the only way to fix this issue.



-Why aren't points going up?

This is normal, a long cooldown to prevent phases going up too quickly and you being overwhelmed with monsters. Read the next question answer if you want to just remove the cooldown



-Why did the Phase/Stage go down?

I was hoping I fixed that bug with my changes but just incase I left this here; this is what you have to do.

"/srpevolution setphase #" Replace # with the number of the phase you was at.

Then you have to remove the cooldown from the Phase so you aren't waiting again, to remove the cooldown do these steps:

1. Open the files and go to the Config folder

2.Find and open the srparasites folder

3. Open SRParasitesSystems.cfg (Use whatever to open it, notepad+ is fine for example)

4. Press Ctrl + F and quick search the word "Phase # Delay" (Replace # with the Phase/Stage number you are looking for)

5. Make the delay Number 0. After, save and close.



-Will you update to the latest Scape and Run Parasite version?

Yes but only if it is stable. Each update resets the configs which takes time for me to redo and then test if it works with the new changes + to make sure no new bugs make the game unplayable. So please be patient as I work on the Modpack!

-Nerf damage of wooden spikes, the augur and other 7dtm items

-Fix 7dtm Zombies spawning in the end

-Fix techgun sound glitch

 

Future Updates Planned

Besides the issues/changes mentioned above^, here are major updates planned for the modpack!

-Around 18 new structures.

-Around 60 new modern ruined decoration blocks + adding them to all existing/new structures.

-Custom Player & Mob animations

-Overhauled cities, currently the cities in the modpack are not up to my standard. We are planning it out at the moment.

-When the cities are in progress^ aka we are far into making it a reality. I plan new posters and in world ads, things that will make it so the cities feel alive. Current structures already have this but reusing these assets would be too repetitive.
