GTBC's Legacy Enhanced - Distant Horizons Edition

Looking to jump into vanilla Minecraft, but find the standard experience lacking in polish and optimization? Give this modpack a try. With refreshed structures, diverse biomes, quality-of-life changes & Distant Horizons, it offers a smoother and more enjoyable gameplay experience. 

The best part? You can seamlessly import your existing vanilla worlds into Legacy Enhanced, so you can enjoy all the new features without starting from scratch (just be sure to make a backup first!).

MODPACK VERSIONS INFO (Important):

Full Versions: Choose the 'Full' version of the modpack to access all the features it offers. (Full Versions come with Lithosphere with WWOO & Tectonic with Terralith combo, with Distant Horizons)

Performance: Modpack versions labeled with "Perf" only includes the performance enhancements and some client QoL tweaks. Does not include any major gameplay, structure generation changes. (Perfomance versions does come with Default, Tectonic & Lithosphere generation types, with distant horizons)

This modpack features 2 different versions of Terrain Generation combos. Tectonic with Terralith & Lithosphere with WWOO. When downloading be sure to check verions and terrain generation types that you prefer! WWEE version is discontinued due to not many people downlaoding it.

The primary objective of this modpack is to introduce a multitude of new biomes and enhance vanilla structures for players to explore. It focuses on implementing QoL improvements to simplify gameplay while maintaining a purely vanilla experience, without introducing any additional mobs or blocks. Additionally, optimization features are integrated to elevate player FPS and overall gaming experience.

CONTROLLER AND FREE MULTIPLAYER SUPPORT:

The modpack boasts full controller support and seamlessly integrates E4MC by default. With E4MC, hosting your singleplayer world becomes effortless, allowing others to join by simply entering the address, all for free and without the need for an external server.

PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENT:

All of the versions come pre-installed with Sodium and Iris for increased performance and shader support. Additionally, Optifine resource packs can also be used with this modpack, thanks to Entity Model and Texture features mods, along with support for connected textures. Enjoy smoother gameplay with higher FPS and stable frametimes. We also integrated Distant Horizon's mod with the shaders it support.

RE-IMAGINED DIMENSIONS AND STRUCTURES:

The Overworld, Nether, and End have all received a fresh update, revitalizing their landscapes without introducing any new blocks or mobs. Additionally, certain structures have been reimagined with a new look.

✔️ INVENTORY & CRAFTING TABLE:

Improved crafting table UI and Various crafting table sorting fuctions. (Balance the materials in the crafting grid to stack sizes, One click clear the crafting grid into your inventory etc)

Inventory sorting options with some unique features. (Dump everything in the chest with one click, can move the items you only have already in the chest, Lock item slots in place so that sorting ignores them).

✔️ Cauldrons can store ANY liquids also can be used to mix potions and dyes. Stepping into a splash or lingering potion cauldron will apply that potion. Also can be used to make stews. Just throw the ingredients into a boiling water cauldron.

✔️ New Improved Lecterns.

✔️ Lanterns Have a new 3D animation when held in hand. Lanterns can be hung on walls, when hanging will have pendulum physics!

✔️ Hanging signs can hold any item on both their faces. Will display a visual connection when attached to fence, walls or similar blocks. When attached to walls will swing with physics!

✔️ Jukeboxes now visually show the disc they are playing.

✔️ Carpets can be placed on Slabs & Stairs.

✔️ Gain insights into each potion and enchantment with detailed descriptions provided by simply hovering over them.

✔️ Cakes can be stacked by placing two ontop of eachother.

✔️ Mob Skulls can be stacked. Works with ANY skull in any combination.

✔️ Brewing stands now will have their potion bottles colored according to what they are holding.

✔️ Banners and Pots can be placed on ceilings.

✔️ Fire effect no longer blocks the entire vision (only bottom of the screen).

✔️ Tripwire hooks can hold tools when you shift click on one.

✔️ Experience various QoL changes, such as renaming nametags with a simple crouch and right click, inventory and chest sorting, and advanced building mechanics like diagonal placement of fences and glass panes, as well as vertical slab support and many more.

Recommendations and Warnings:

• Keep in mind that Bliss shader doesn't support Distant Horizons, because they didn't released that version yet. Download the support version manually from Here.
• Use "Chunky" mod to pre-generate the world when using Distant Horizons!
  
• You also might want to fiddle with Distant Horizons settings inside the modpack to get best out of it. [Options > Video Settings > Distant Horizons icon]
• Do not auto-update the modpack whenever your launcher says. There are different versions of the modpack that might get overlapped when auto-updating. Make sure to check the update first!
• The built-in Complementary Unbound & Complementary Re-imagined does support Distant Horizons.
