This modpack will prompt you to download two mods when you first launch it: agree to do that. It will then crash. Don't worry: just restart it again and all should be fine.
This modpack is a moderate-weight pack based around the Prehistoric Nature mod, with magic and tech and a suite of associated mods, with some varied WorldGen and new structure and dimensions. Mine for ores and metals, find fossils, extract the fossil contents and build portals to ancient dimensions where you can find prehistoric life. A whole suite of Thermal Dynamics-based mods support energy extraction and automation for building. We also have various smelting and magic mods, and a range of modded mobs to battle through (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/tinkers-construct) for putting those to some use, with various armours and addons. Fossils machinery requires RF energy input to work. The Nether and End have also been modded.

If you are looking for a much more basic pack, try out the modpacks Purely Prehistoric Nature or Prehistoric Nature Integrated. Or for another fairly complex one along similar lines to this one, perhaps you may like Mythos or Chronos.
