GTBC's Geomancy Plus - Iron's Spells Addon

Geomancy+ is an addon for Iron’s Spellbooks and Mowzie’s Mobs. It introduces the "Geo" school, expanding the magic system with earth-themed spells, equipment, and more. Alongside Geomancy, it also adds spells across other schools, inspired by Mowzie’s Mobs’ bosses and abilities, while including original magic to expand the theme even further.

New Magic School (Geo):

With this addon, a brand new school is introduced — Geo, themed around the power of earth and stone.

To expand upon this new school, the update brings new spells, unique equipment and MORE!!

Custom Spells:

Geo:

Chunker:

• Summons a large rolling dirt block that moves forward, damaging and knocking back enemies in its path.

Eroding Boulder:

• Shoots out a small boulder that explodes on contact, dealing damage to nearby enemies and applying the Erode effect.

Fissure:

• Creates a fissure that travels forward, and erupts in a small spike that deals damage.

Seismic Surf:

• Summons a large rideable boulder that rises into the air and moves forward on its own in the direction you're looking. Near the end of its duration, it'll safely drop the rider down. Rider can trigger this drop early by casting Counterspell on it.

Tremor Spike:

• Erupts multiple spikes in expanding rings around the caster, dealing damage and knocking up nearby entities.

Tremor Step:

• Applies an effect that deals damage to nearby enemies while sprinting and grants increased movement speed to the caster.

Geo Conductor:

• Summons a small geo pillar that resonates with nearby allies, releasing periodic waves energy. Standing near it grants stacking bonuses to Armor and Spell Resistance to every element. Can serve as the main resonance conductor for Pillar of the Resounding Earth.

Pillar Of The Resounding Earth:

• Summons a large geo pillar that sends out powerful shockwaves, damaging enemies while shredding their Armor and Spell Resistance to every element. The shockwaves resonate with nearby geo entities. Certain geo entities may trigger additional special effects when struck by a resonance shockwave.

Dripstone Bolt:

• Fires a shard of dripstone that shatters on impact, damaging the target and 50% of its damage in a small area.

Petrivise:

• Raises two massive stone walls on opposite sides that slam together, crushing enemies caught between them. The impact funnels targets toward the center, lining them up for follow-up attacks.

Weeping Wall:

• Creates a wall of obsidian by carefully placing multiple pillars, that blocks incoming damage and acts as a shield. When the wall expires or is destroyed, it releases the stored damage in an area around it.

Crystalline Conduit:

• Creates a large amethyst cluster that pulses with geo energy, granting Geo Spell Power to the caster while inside its radius. When it resonates with Pillar of the Resounding Earth, it restores mana to the caster.

Weeping Cluster:

• Creates a unique crying obsidian cluster that stores damage dealt to entities in its radius each 1s. If the stored damage exceeds the cluster’s capacity, or when the cluster expires, it detonates and deals the stored damage in the area.

Holy:

Solar Beam:

• Unleashes a continuous beam of solar energy in a straight line, damaging all entities caught within.

Solar Storm:

• Applies an effect that calls continuous sunstrikes onto nearby enemies, damaging them and setting them on fire.

Solar Chorus:

• Summons Umvuthana Raptors to fight for you. Each Umvuthana Raptor spawns with 2 Umvuthana Cranes. Can only be obtained from Umvuthanas.

Why your project is Closed Source and How can we get access to it?

In the past, I had some unfortunate experiences with my college projects (personal matters) that left me with trust issues. Let’s just say I’ve developed a sort of trauma, and it’s hard for me to trust people easily. Since I’m fairly new to this community, I feel the need to be cautious. That’s why my projects are currently closed-source. However, if I stay in the modding scene long enough and build more trust, I might consider making them open-source in the future.

How do I get the new spells?

• As you do with Iron's Spellbooks. Same process. Some spells might have a unique way to obtain (like defeating a entity or finding in loot chests), in which case it should be mentioned on that specific spell's description.

Will you port this mod to [X] version?

• If I feel like and if all the dependencies are on that [X] version, then it might get ported. Remember 'might'...
