Description
Factory Age (English)
A void-skyblock automation pack for Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge), rebuilt from the ideas of Mechanical Mastery (1.18.2).
Why this pack? I really like Mechanical Mastery (MM), but its newer versions no longer use ProjectE (Equivalent Exchange). So I made this pack myself and added some of the mods I enjoy playing. I hope you have fun!
Core loop
- You spawn on a tiny 5×5×5 island. There are no ores in the world: every ore is bought with EMC.
- Process the ores into materials, craft mechanical essences, package them into mechanical crystals and sell them back for EMC.
- Use the EMC to expand your factory and unlock higher tiers of essences and crystals.
Nine tiers Nine essence tiers take you from Create through Mekanism, AE2 autocrafting, lightning tech and antimatter, all the way to every creative item. The last item in the pack is the Creative ME Cell.
Quest book
- 1846 quests in Chinese and English.
- The main line covers the essence chain. Every mod has its own side chapter, one quest per item.
Design rules
- No free-resource machines (spawner cloners, collectors and similar are disabled).
- Vanilla items you cannot get on a void island (echo shards, dragon breath, heart of the sea and so on) are crafted once, learned in the transmutation table, then bought with EMC.
- Immersive Engineering is never required.

- The pack includes a small helper mod made for it (Factory Age Compat) that patches mod interactions and adds JEI entries.

九个阶段 精华共九级：常规、改进、高级、精英、终极、绝对、至尊、寰宇、无限。每一级都需要新的模组、新的产线。从第一台动力辊压机开始，经过通用机械化工、AE2 自动合成、闪电科技和反物质，最后在终极工作台做出全部创造物品。最后一件物品是创造 ME 元件。
任务书
- 共 1846 个任务，中英文双语。
- 主线只讲精华和水晶，每个阶段有开篇说明和需要的材料。
- 每个模组都有独立的支线章节：一物一任务，一条产线一行，按真实合成顺序排列。
主要模组 机械动力及其附属、通用机械（含通用动力工厂）、应用能源 2 及众多附属、闪电科技、等价交换与 ProjectExpansion、Powah、工业先锋、扩展合成、戴尔设备、紧凑机器、精妙背包 / 存储等，共 215 个模组。
设计原则
- 不能凭空产资源：刷怪复制器、收集器等机器已禁用；只发电、或要消耗输入的机器不受影响。
- 空岛拿不到的原版物品（回响碎片、龙息、海洋之心等）先合成第一个，再学习进转换桌用 EMC 购买。
- 沉浸工程只是可选路线，不会成为必经之路。
说明
- Minecraft 1.21.1，NeoForge 21.1.262。
- 建议给游戏分配 8 GB 以上内存。
- 包内带一个本包专用的小型兼容模组（Factory Age Compat），用来修补模组之间的问题、补充 JEI 显示。
