ADVENTURE MOD begins you at three hearts, offering you to pick a class that affects your playthrough´s playstyle, earning more hearts is in relation to either your XP level and your armor pieces, greatly increasing the importance of farming, fishing, mining & killing mobs.

This is suppose to be difficult and challenging to the regular vanilla player, slow you down, slightly unforgiving so play how you want to… the game´s core mechanics still matter though at the centre and are paramount to progression: building a homestead with a chimney, a barn for breeding animals, spelunking caves to mine minerals in aid to exploring and fighting through dungeons or interdimensional portals to take on the unique bosses… at the very least you will have to explore and gather the eyes, enter Hell, enter Heaven, and then the End presents itself…

Reward is in journey, and somehow, after years of not playing this game, this variation and difficulty had brought me back.

VERSIONS

Please pay attention to which version you download considering your pc specs, it is recommended to allocate 5-8GB of memory... preloading using Chunky helps performance, here is an example command: /chunky start minecraft:overworld circle 0 0 400 400

LITE is around 120 mods, achieves a consistent tick rate below 10
MAIN is around 140 mods, achieves a tick rate around 14 to 28
PLUS is everything baby, tick rate is f**ked, beast pcs only

WHAT DO I EVEN DO?

PROPOSED PROGRESSION - [1] chop trees, watch the leaves gracefully fall, build a homestead, mine, survive the first few nights - [2] explore the dozens of unique above ground structures, aid villages, rebuild and grow them into cities - [3] craft new weaponry: a long sword, twin blade, rapier, katana, sai, spear, glaive, warglaive, chakram, cutlass, claymore, great hammer, great axe, halberd, scythe… there are new enchantments. shields & bows and tons of new arrow types, armors, gloves, etc… coming across unique variants and clothing requires exploration & mob drops… - [4] craft waystones to set up a teleportation network at the cost of xp… - [5] mine away, craft a hammer or new rails and build a mineshaft, a railroad, tunnel systems, underground villages or cities or outposts… - [6] craft chimneys, furniture like sofas, lamps, curtains, tables, chairs, door variants or tall doors, windows - [7] cook unique recipes over a stove, cooking pot, pan, or cutting board - [8] build farms (sugarcane, wheat, potato, carrot, pumpkin, melon, beetroot, flax, rice, cabbage, onions, tomatoes, cotton, peppers) - [9] build animal farms (cow, pig, sheep, horse, chicken, rabbit, bee) - [10] horses can drag carts and mobs around… - [11] build a zoo, aquarium or mob showcase (pandas!) - [12] build mob farms (iron golem, piglin, slime, skeleton, creepers) - [13] grow trees, collect multiple types of flowers and ferns, build a botanical garden, hedges - [14] traverse biomes and gather material for building palettes and architecture purposes - [15] use a brush, sift bones in the desert, badlands or jungles to uncover extinct species, ruins and digsites - [16] explore six unique cave systems and all the dungeons at every depth - [17] play with magic scrolls using an inscription table, scroll forge, arcane anvil, alchemist cauldron - [18] collect magical and powerful artifacts & weaponry, the heads of all the mobs, discs, paintings, and by using pedestals, build a museum - [19] enter Hell, fight it´s dungeons and build unique civilizations connected to the Overworld or… build on the ominous roof… - [20] venture upward into the heavenly Aether to travel across floating islands and face against ancient beings - [21] venture downward into the magical and swampy Twilight Forest… attempt to lift the curse (player has to manually download Twilight Forest </3) - [22] having explored and collected ten to twelve unique ender eyes, face and defeat the Ender Dragon, roam the once guarded stark regions surrounded in a voided abyss - [23] defeat all bosses in every dimension: the overworld, hell, heaven, the twilight zone & the end - [24] nothing to play with?… there´s cameras, ziplines and hooks, quarries, holograms, rayguns, shotguns, demons, dinosaurs, springling forklift, wicked mask morphing, nukes, submarines, cultists, gingerbread warfare.. geomancers and powerful sorcerers, knights, yetis, golems... that´s not even all of it!!!

updating mods yourself could break the modpack, i'd trust the releases put out
switching into peaceful mode to clear mobs up helps performance
BUG: when leaves drop into full blocks, color doesn't match the tree's leaves sometimes
