Dreamcraft is back on the newest Minecraft: version 26.3 with Fabric, 249 mods and a new quest story with 164 quests.

New in V1.2: the main menu fits every window size, its Mods and Rent a Server buttons work, and you start in first person. V1.1 brought Beach Craft 2.0.1 and fixed quests in The Endless Sea.
What changed in V1.2 and V1.1:
V1.2
- The main menu scales with the window. Before, smaller windows (like the default 854x480 or 1366x768) cut off the lower buttons.
- The Mods and Rent a Server buttons in the main menu work.
- The loading bar is purple, like it was meant to be.
- You start in first person (Shoulder Surfing is still on F5).
- Quest Icons 1.0.1: joining a team no longer gives you a second Quest Book.
- Quests name JEI, the recipe viewer of the pack (some still said REI).
- Just Enough Resources is removed: it did not work with the Nether biomes of BetterNether and showed no pages.
V1.1
Beach Craft 2.0.1
- Sharks spawn in the raft ocean again.
- Sail canvas can be crafted again.
- The paddle pushes the boat.
- The item catcher, water purifier, grill and scarecrow are fixed.
- Driftwood and palm wood burn in furnaces.
- Quarries keep the contents of shulker boxes.
- Batteries no longer bounce energy back and forth.
- Portal and teleporter fixes, and more. The full list is in the Beach Craft changelog.
Quests
- The Endless Sea chapter matches the mod again.
- Driftwood grows as stumps on sandy beaches, and the receiver leads you to floating driftwood.
- The old "Land Ho!" quest asked for a structure that was almost impossible to find. It is now "Driftwood Ahoy!": bring 16 driftwood logs aboard.
- The titanium quest names the diamond pickaxe and the metal detector.
- The titanium armor quest lists the real set bonus: Water Breathing, Dolphin's Grace and Conduit Power.
Server
- The server pack contains Beach Craft 2.0.1 and the new quest files.
- To update an existing server, replace mods/raft-*.jar and config/questsicons/quests.

We will be continuing to develop and support the pack for quite some time to come, including the addition of many new (and newly ported) mods. Some big mods have no Fabric version for Minecraft 26.3 yet, or their 26.3 versions do not work in the pack yet. We want to add them back once they work with Fabric 26.3. We are also interested in more high-quality biomes, expanding upon the range of structures for you to find and adding a series of additional quests for you to complete. We can't announce any other specific mods yet, since we evaluate each mod individually if they are ready to be added to the mod pack.

Minimum allocated RAM: 6 GB
Recommended allocated RAM: 8-10 GB normally, or more for those with shaders, a high render distance, increased video settings or HD resource packs.
If you don't know how you can allocate more RAM to Minecraft, here is a handy tutorial for it.
Java: Dreamcraft 26.3 needs Java 25. The CurseForge app brings the right Java for you.
Shaders: Iris is included with BSL and Complementary Reimagined. Shaders are off by default. To turn them on, open Options > Video Settings > Shader Packs, pick a pack, make sure the button says "Shaders: Enabled" and click Apply. If your game gets slow, turn them off again in the same screen.
Play with friends: rent a server at BisectHosting (at least 6 GB) and use my code Kasax007 for 25% off your first month. You can also click Rent a Server in the Dreamcraft main menu. Or run the server pack on your own machine.
How to start the server pack:
- Download the Server Pack of the newest version from the Files tab.
- Install Java 25 on the server, for example from adoptium.net.
- Unzip the folder and run start.sh (Linux and macOS) or start.bat (Windows).
- The first start stops and creates eula.txt. Read the Minecraft EULA and set eula=true in that file.
- Start again. The Fabric launcher downloads Minecraft 26.3 and starts the server with all mods.
RAM: start.sh gives the server 8 GB. Set another amount with DREAMCRAFT_RAM, for example DREAMCRAFT_RAM=10G ./start.sh. On Windows, change -Xmx8G in start.bat.
Voice chat: Simple Voice Chat needs the UDP port 24454 open on your server.
Updating a V1 server: replace mods/raft-*.jar and the folder config/questsicons/quests.
Client-only mods (marked "client" in the mod list) are not in the server pack. Players use the normal Dreamcraft pack.
