Rediscover the wonder of survival Minecraft.

• A dynamic profession system that dramatically changes how you progress and interact with your friends. No two worlds will play the same way!
• A slower, expression-focused progression through early to late-game, designed to give more life and purpose to the overlooked parts of the game.
• A lack of monsters in the dark. Focus on building what you want - monsters only lurk in dungeons and the depths of the world.
• A hostile environment designed to give your creativity direction, not to kill you. Winter storms, overhauled caves, and scorching deserts will all test your creativity - smart building is the best way to survive!
• A sense of whimsy and wonder, brought about by custom mechanics and a living world. There are spirits that can only be seen by certain players, and many interactions in the world can occur without your input.

Pick from 10 unique professions at the start of a new world, split between Magical Professions and Physical Professions. Each offers a distinct playstyle, and each sets you on a different progression path. Below is an oversimplified rundown of each profession:

Alchemist creates potions out of any effect in the game, including otherwise unobtainable ones.

Artisan can fully repair any damaged item at an Anvil for no cost, improving the item in the process.

Grovetender plays their Spirit Maraca to quickly water crops and befriend Ribbit spirits.

Scout spots items, monsters, and other entities through walls and uses Fireworks to create waypoints.

Spelunker can duplicate Minecart Rails of any kind and find ores by using on-demand Glowsticks.

Cleric creates pockets of safety from corruption, temperature, and even death itself.

Occultist becomes a spirit when they die, only returning to life at circles of candles or by consuming souls.

Architect uses their Blueprint and enhanced Scaffolding to quickly build whatever they imagine.

Merchant conjures trades from unknown places, allowing access to resources for coin instead of manual labor.

Scholar decodes magical languages to discover powerful enchantments hidden within.

On your own, Encore will play just fine. With that said, the pack is designed around friends.

Each profession is carefully crafted to encourage working together as a community, with every player on a server bringing something only they can do to the table. An Alchemist might hand a powerful potion flask to an Occultist, who soulbinds it so the flask can never be lost on death. In the background, a Grovetender has rapidly grown the mushrooms used to brew the potion, and a Spelunker has provided safe access to the gold needed for the flask. These are just examples of course - every profession synergizes with one another in many different ways.

This pack is for version 1.20.1 and only supports Forge.

Prism Launcher and PolyMC are unofficially supported (for now) - there are a handful of mods that are pretty important to the pack that have 3rd-party downloads disabled, meaning that you might need to install them manually. Configuration files and other customizations made by the pack for those mods will still be installed; you only need to download the mods themselves. I'll try to have a full list to make things easier in the future!

Encore is Vanilla+ only at heart - it is a very large pack with sweeping changes to how the game plays, but it aims to make a more cohesive experience overall and to still be recognizable as Minecraft.

I only fluently speak English, and as such, my pack can only account for English translations. I would love for this to change, but I simply don't have the resources to make it happen at the moment.
