Beta Rising is a modern adaptation of OG Minecraft, centered around Beta 1.7.3.

This modpack is a total-conversion of 1.20.1, transforming it into the ultimate amalgamation and epic culmination that is Minecraft, blending the best elements from every era and prioritizing genuine innovation as opposed to contrived continuation. It restores a bit of everything you can remember, ranging from: the earliest Development Builds/Tests, Alpha, Beta, Early Releases, 1.7.10, 1.8.9, 1.12.2, 1.16.5-1.20.1+!… minus most of the "bad" stuff.

Powered by the latest technology, infused with faithful preservation and forged from devout inspiration, Beta Rising revitalizes the beloved 2011 block game, bringing it back to simply that—before Microsoft slowly dismantled, buried and replaced it.
