Description

Create: Means Of Production is a modpack based centrally around the Create mod and its amazing addons. Other mods have had their recipes, loot tables, progression and balance altered to better work with the Create mod. With many quests, missions, dialog (toggleable), a shop and an expensive end-goal item that can be used to create some very strong items & blocks.

As employees of The Company, you were sent to the exoplanet Ross 128 b in the hopes of setting up a mining/research outpost. Complications in the journey resulted in the ship crash landing on the planet, with only a satellite in orbit and any ships light years away you must survive with limited support & resources.

- Copper tier (copper/zinc tools) required between stone and iron
- Nether doesn't require a portal, dig under -60 in the overworld to travel to the top of the nether and vice versa
- End portal is no longer found but built, strongholds are still needed for this process
- Ender dragon mechanics have been adjusted thanks to True Ending
- Metallic Alloys, such as Netherite need to be created from its molten components
- Majruszs Progressive Difficulty adds a tool tier above netherite within the end
- Backports of the Mace

One of the highest priorities of the pack, a lot of performance mods are included. (Too many to list but common ones like Entity Culling, ModernFix & Embeddium are likely the most impactful)
This modpack was made and tested with (Ryzen 5 7600x, RTX 3060Ti, 32GB DDR5 @6000Hz - 8GB Max Allocated, Consistently above 130fps, Amazon Coretto JDK 17.0.16_8)

If struggling with performance disable either shaders or distant horizons; if DH then raise simulation, view & render distance above the minimum of 8 and potentially add C2ME as it was omitted from the pack due to incompatibility with distant horizons. On first world load it takes a relatively long amount of time to stabilise fps to a baseline, I recommend waiting past this period to make your judgements on performance adjustments.

A large amount of block mods have been added to help you build your machines, factories and world.
Architects Palette, Chipped, Macaws (Fences, Windows, Trapdoors, Paintings, Furniture, Bridges, Roofs, Doors, Stairs, Paths, Lights), Comforts, Create: Copycats+, FramedBlocks, Beautify & Handcrafted
Whereas Quark's trowel, Construction Wands and Building Gadgets will give you valuable tools to build.

World Generation has been completely overhauled to make it more interesting, varied & realistic. Terralith and Oh The Biomes We've Gone add more biomes; whilst William Wythers Overhauled Overworld(with Cliffs & Coves and Navigable Rivers Datapacks) and Continents improve the terrain shaping and formation.
The End hasn't gone unnoticed either as Astrological and The Outer End give it a much needed facelift.
Farmer's Delight and its many mods adds a huge amount of food and automation options.

In order to fill the world alongside the above changes many mob mods have been added to make the planet more lively. Namely Critters & Companions, Alex's Mobs, Mowzie's Mobs, Aquaculture 2, Unusual Fish Mod, Ben's Sharks and Rats
More Dangerous Fauna (i.e. Bosses) have been added using Bosses Rise, Qliphoth Awakening, Call of Yucatán for those looking to make their mark.

While exploring Ross 128 b there are many structures to explore and pillage or even locals to communicate & trade with.
Epic Villages & Lios Overhauled Villages improve upon minecrafts rather lackluster villages. ATi Structures and Ancient Structures add beautiful and historic structures.
With the more expansive oceans thanks to the Continents mod, Sunken Spires and YUNGs Better Ocean Monuments help to make sailing the seas more worthwhile.
Before visiting the End and building your portal you will need to venture into the new stronghold
The End & Nether haven't been ignored, Moogs Nether & End Structure adds more to see in the otherwise relatively barren landscapes. Nether Fortresses and End Cities have also had aesthetic changes.

Expand your melee arsenal with Simply Swords, or your ranged one with Scorched Guns 2. Greater weapons of war such as Cannons, Airships or Warships make you as formidable as those you face.
To help with your general day to day use, Create: Ironworks adds paxels and hammers (3x3 mining) and Create: Stuff & Additions adds more eclectic options such as Flamethrower, Grapplin Whisk, Block Mover and Drill

How can anyone live without a backpack? I know I can't. Simpler storage options that add drawers and expanded chests with upgrades. As you progress and unlock electricity you gain access to digital storage via AE2, but before then Chest Tracker should help you locate the needle in the haystack of chests you will almost certainly accrue. For chest and inventory interactions Mouse Tweaks, Inventory Essentials & Inventory Tweaks are almost expected.

Unique items that add abilities and interactions with Relics, Artifacts and Skillcloaks which can only be obtained using the Company shop. Wear lanterns on your belt or even store tools on it. Craft on the go, Float through the air, travel through space or even manipulate time

- Finish Space, Farmers Delight & AE2 Advanced quest chapters
- Potentially add Clockwork/VS2 when Clockwork is ready for Create 6
