Redstone Witch [Lite]

Redstone Witch is a modpack focused on preserving the gameloop of survival Redstone/technical minecraft, while still adding a plethora of content like any other modpack.

Many 'Vanilla+' modpacks out there add too much to the game that usually result in Redstone becoming redundant due to additions like Create or AE2, or seedmaps being unusable due to mods like Terralith. While there is good gameplay to be found within those mods, this modpack aims to be the alternative.

• No Quest Book
• No Insane World Generation (seedmaps/cubiomes are mostly usable [wont show modded features])
• No Crazy Amount of Structures
• Minimal Storage Changes (nether chests, inmis backpacks, scout)
• No Durability - Mending and Unbreaking 3 are no longer a crutch!
• Keep Some Inventory - keep tools/weapons/food on death; lose resources on death
• 1.8 Combat - with Golden Age Combat mod [remove it if you want post-1.9 combat]

Mods have been chosen to only add fluff to the game. No major mechanic changes or shortcuts for farming. Some little mechanic changes are present however, Birch trees can generate with 'branches' so something like Cubicmetre's omnifarm would instead use the Acacia option while farming birch trees, as the branches would break the block stream. !! Not all redstone machines have been tested to work in this modpack, other problems could occur !!

This modpack adds a couple new redstone blocks

• supplementaries; lots of stuff (turn table and some things disabled)
  • Relayer (observer-like block that copies the signal it has in front to its back, 1 tick activation)
  • Wind Vane (singal output based on weather)
  • Cog Block (redstone dust as a block)

  • Spring Launcher (only pushes entities, launches twice as far as slime-piston setup)
  • Clock Block (comparator reads the 24hr proportionally to the 0-15 signal strength)

  • Crank (analog lever, can be turned opposite way with shift click)

Custom Piglin Rates

Using the 'Custom Piglin Bartering' mod, I have adjusted the rates for bartering. The mod also adds trading with gold nuggets and gold blocks.

Why is this a 'Lite' modpack?

• I have some other mods in the back of my mind like RPG series that I would like to include in my modpack, however I also wanted to retain moslty vanilla mechanics. So I decided that there will be this 'Lite" version and a 'Full' version which will be made later once I feel like this is in a great spot.
